Hello and welcome to Leanne's Life! Before anything else - please know that this is my own personal blog and is in no way affiliated with my employer or any other company.
Now a little bit about me: I'm a native of Central Florida and work at Walt Disney World Resort. (And yes, it's a dream job!) Prior to my magical days at Disney I spent nearly 10 years at WFTV Ch-9 in Orlando. I'm a graduate of Rollins College. I love animals so you'll probably see quite a few stories here about my babies, Mikita and Jefferson.
I hope you'll enjoy my posts. Topics will be wide ranging from amusing stories about daily life to the excitement about something that happened at work, or maybe just my random (and sometimes silly) thoughts on something. Great video blog, Leanne! And yes, it is hilarious how Mikita is such a ham for the camera. I think we will find through these video blogs that you two may have a new gig forming. You know, Sonny & Cher, Leanne & Mikita…

Okay, I think you have hit the nail on the head. Social media is definitely the big topic of the day.
Work lives and personal lives are blending now because everyone has so much access to each other.
It is amazing to me to watch the bloggers I follow on Twitter–how they are all going from one conference to another–meeting each other, etc.
Right now, I am being encouraged to enter the world of blogging from so many of my friends and facebook followers.
It seems like such a big challenge though. I’m wondering how much more to put out there….while I contemplate my fate w/blogging, I am fulfilling that “need” with my notes on facebook….
Gosh, twitter, facebook, blogging…..they are making our world so much smaller and social.

So true. I know that discovery was a bit…abrupt for you. It really hadn’t occurred to me, either, until I saw it through you. Can be both a good and a bad thing I suppose. I think we will need to get used to having less and less privacy in our lives, as our society is evolving.
Mikita totally cracks me up. Everytime you turn on a camera she comes running. Maybe Mikita is trying to tell you something. Is there a showbiz career in her future?
