I’ve been wondering many things lately, so thought I would compile a list of things I’m constantly asking “WHY?”
*WHY* Do furniture stores advertise beds as “3-piece” sets when they are referring to the headboard, foot board and rails. They don’t sell these pieces individually so why should they advertise them as individual pieces? Drives me crazy.
*WHY* Does Mikita try to grab every single new thing I bring into the house and run around with it in her mouth?
*WHY* Do people being interviewed on cop shows continue to do their daily chores during the interview? I mean, come on! If a cop showed up to my house I’d sit them down in the living room and answer their questions – not invite them into the kitchen while I continue fixing dinner! How unrealistic!
*WHY* When I’m in a hurry in the mornings I always end up behind a school bus on the way to work?
*WHY* Can’t I lose weight when I really do eat healthy? (No fried foods, limited carbs, no sweets?)
*WHY* Do the weekends fly by so fast?
*WHY* Do dogs instantly understand the phrase “Go for a ride” yet pretend to not have a clue what you’re saying when you command “Come” or “Lie down”?
*WHY* Do car dealerships always advertise “their biggest sale of the year” EVERY single weekend?
*WHY* Is it when I arrive at the grocery store there isn’t a parking spot to be found, but when I’m walking out there are 10 spaces empty right at the front door?
*WHY* Do TV news anchors feel the need to be drama readers? Just read the stories normally – don’t hype it up or act like you’re vying for an Oscar!
*WHY* Is it everything I really want to do has to be so expensive? (Like going to Italy.)
*WHY* Do I always find the “perfect” gift for people AFTER Christmas? Why can’t these perfect gifts pop into my mind in November?
*WHY* Do home contractors not know how to calculate time? Time management 1-0-1.
*WHY* Does my Wii Fit lie to me about my Fit Age? Puh-Leeze!

I’d also like to add — Why does that bus you end up behind in the morning stop at EVERY corner? I mean, really, would it hurt kids to walk a block to the bus stop?
Yes – so true. I remember back when I was a kid we had to walk 10-miles in the snow. (Ok – that’s so not true since I grew up in Florida, but…)
I love this list. The grocery store Why screams my trip EVERY time I go.
