I can still hear those words ringing in my ears. In fact, I constantly am hearing high-pitched ringing in my ears – 36 hours after Sunday night’s Pat
Benatar concert in downtown Orlando.
A group of us braved the drizzling rain to check out the show. We were treated to VIP seats right up front – 2nd row, in fact! Great seats (except for the fact we were right in front of the 10-foot tall wall of speakers) and great viewing and total VIP treatment. Thank you for that.

Huge crowd showed up in downtown Orlando.

Mitra said – “Enough rain!”
The concert was great. Pat played all her famous songs and sounded fabulous. Good times – fun night!

My backyard and the entire neighborhood is under invasion by frogs. As soon as the sun goes down, the beady-eyed creatures emerge from their dark hiding places in search of their daily meal. And the noise they make, especially as a group, when it gets really dark, is amazing – and annoying if you don’t have anything to drown it out in the bedroom. I use a floor fan with a humming motor to drown out their screeching cries.
They are also fearless. They will jump on you without hesitation. I opened my front door the other day to get the morning paper and one jumped right on my arm scaring the bejezzies out of me!

This is my beautiful wind chime on the back porch. A frog has taken up residence in each one of the pipes.

Not directly related to the frogs – this is a view from my office window of an incoming storm.
Rib-bit for now

Hi everyone,
Remember Me? I think the intense heat of the summer has given me no ambition to write on this blog. And on top of that, there has NOT been much exciting going on to talk about. But things have changed.
I had the great pleasure this weekend of meeting up with an old friend and colleague and his fabulous family. I haven’t seen Dennison Keller in more than seven years. In that time period, he moved from Orlando to Cincinnati, went to law school, quit the TV business and oh, did I mention, fathered TRIPLETS! Dennison and Theresa and the three boys were in town this week for a much needed vacation. The boys, Dominick, Jonah, and Luke are absolutely adorable! The parents deserve kudos galore for creating such a beautiful family.

This is the only shot I took of all three of the children. Aren’t they adorable?

I met the
Kellers in
Daytona Beach. On the way in, by Highway 92 (
Int’l Speedway Blvd) you pass this historic building. I remember when we were kids and we vacationed in
Daytona, when we drove there from Orlando – coming upon this building was always the indicator that we were really close to the beach. I still remember those trips in the family station wagon heading over there with Grandma and the whole family.

On the way home, the weather took a turn for the worse. This picture doesn’t do it justice on how dark the skies were. It did open up with lots of rain, thunder and lightning.
Did I mention how friggin‘ hot it is? My car thermometer read 103-degrees today! It’s miserable.
