Wow – has it been a busy week for me and hundreds of other people. We worked a major press event this week which was hard, given the atrocious weather on Thursday. But what made it worthwhile was hanging out with some great friends.

I know. I know! It’s been way too long between posts. I’m just as sick of the fog pictures as you are. I just haven’t had time to take any new pictures of anything in the past few weeks. Add to that the fact that there has been nothing going on for me to take a picture of. I don’t think me sitting at the computer working is a great image. Nor is me grocery shopping, walking the dog and working out. Pretty mundane.
I’m actually supposed to be working on “work” stuff right now, but took time out to update the blog instead. Anything to avoid not having to work on a holiday.
The pre-show to the Golden Globes is on right now on E! Network. It’s mindless TV to keep me entertained while my fingers type away at the keyboard. Plus, I love watching what goes on and what the celebrities are wearing. I always fantasize about what I would wear if I were up for an award like that. I think I’d go with a deep royal blue or emerald green dress, just to be different. Although from what I’ve seen tonight, there is not trend, in color at least.
The 3-day weekend is about to come to a close and I have done nothing I said I was going to do. I didn’t go to church. I didn’t go to see a movie. I didn’t buy a new digital camera. And on, and on.
The digital camera wish is turning out to be an adventure. I tend to heavily rely on Consumer Reports for any large purchase I make like that. If it’s more than $200, it’s a large expense.
With research documents in hand, I headed to the store (Circuit City). As usual, of the top cameras recommended by Consumer Reports, none of them were offered at the store. It was frustrating. I then came home and started searching the internet to see what store has them in stock. NO store in Orlando carries these cameras! I’m looking for the Casio EX-z750, Canan A620, or the Olympus Stylus 800. Other versions of these models could be found, but not these exact models. I guess a new camera is not meant to be had, at least by me.
Three of my four NFL teams advanced to the next level of playoffs. Go Tom Brady! Go Peyton Manning! Go Rex Grossman!
How about the season premiere of “24″. I love that show! I can’t wait for part II tonight.
My friends Mike and Miguel come into town within the next 7-days. What a reunion that will be.
