  1. Wilma's Expanded Weekend

    October 24, 2005 by Leanne

Thanks to Hurricane Wilma, most of us had an unexpected 3-day weekend – with Monday dedicated to sitting on the couch channel surfing to all the media reports of how bad it was – or was supposed to be. In my little abode, Wilma kicked up some winds and filled up the pool for me for awhile. She also gave me a nice late morning nap on the couch – under my afghan with the candles glowing in the living room. I never lost electricity this time, but my mom did for a very short time.
The bad news was I found a leak in my living room roof. Gotta get that fixed very soon. Ugh.

The dogs don’t worry too much about the storm- as long as they get their supper.

Here’s how the babies got through the storm. I followed their lead.

A montage of photos from the office. (Has nothing to do with Wilma)

  2. A day in the park…

Hopefully this update with photos makes it to my website.

These are some photos from a recent team outing we had at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. If you’ve never been, you must make the time to go. It is one of the best events held here – and at the most perfect time of year for great weather.

    Charles – enjoying the day!

Dave H wondering why I’m taking his picture. Hmmm…

This is David – the genius who worked on fixing my former blogging problem. Thank you!

Geoff – asking me to tell you that’s water in his glass.

Juliana, Annette and Sandra – three members of the great E-Team who put together our fun event.

And last but not least, Patti – who on this day celebrated her 30 years with the company!
Now that I can post pix again – stand by for more photos real soon.

  3. Technical difficulties

Blogger is refusing to post my photographs at the moment so please forgive the lack of new images. Here are a few recent shots, however.

  4. Settling Back In

    October 9, 2005 by Leanne

It’s hard to believe I’ve been home for more than two full weeks. In some ways it feels like I’ve been back for months and in other ways I sometimes think I was just walking down Castle Peak Road to catch the 962 bus into town.

Life is definitely settling back to normal – although many things will never be the same again, which is not a bad thing!

The dogs have totally readjusted to being back with me. Work is slowly getting back to what I remember. My mom is so relieved I’m home. And then there’s my personal life – which I’ll save for another time. (It’s all good!)
